„Halbe Treppe“, ausgezeichnet mit dem Silbernen Bären der Berlinale, wurde vor zehn Jahren in Frankfurt (Oder) gedreht. Doch was ist aus dem Imbiss „Halbe Treppe“ geworden? Ist der Film den Bewohnern der Stadt im Gedächtnis geblieben und mit welchen Augen sehen die Schauspieler auf die Drehzeit zurück? Ein Filmteam begibt sich auf Spurensuche nach Menschen und Orten und verbindet die aktuellen Beobachtungen mit Ausschnitten aus der Recherche- und Drehzeit von „Halbe Treppe“.

„Grill Point“, awarded with the Silver Bear at the Berlinale, was shot in Frankfurt (Oder) ten years ago. What happened to the snack stand „Halbe Treppe“? Did the inhabitants keep the film in her minds and how are the actors looking retrospectively at the shooting? A film team investigates the approach to the shooting and mix their research with clips from the shooting of „Grill Point”.
