BACHELOR'S DEGREE COURSE IN DRAMATURGY/SCRIPT

Subject to approval from the University administration, plans are in place to offer the Bachelor’s degree course in Dramaturgy/Script as described below from the winter semester 2011 onwards. Please ensure that you check our website for any possible changes before submitting your application.

This course offers career-oriented artistic and scientific training for a variety of vocational areas in the film industry, public and private television broadcasting and in new media. The main focus of the course is preparing students for employment as screenwriters, dramaturges or film editors.

A combination of artistic creativity and academic education provide students with comprehensive knowledge of dramaturgy, screenwriting and the theory and history of film, television, drama and literature. 

The standard duration of this course is 6 semesters. 

The degree Bachelor of Arts (BA) will be awarded upon successful completion of this course. 

Following this Bachelor’s course, the HFF will offer a consecutive Master’s course with a duration of four semesters.
